Brief History

Due to the importance of quality control of pharmaceutical and food products, the Department of Food and Medical Hydrology was established in the faculty of pharmacy in 2000 and started its work independently. It is necessary to explain that the responsibility and main purpose of this department begins with the design and development of drugs and continues until the production and supply to the drug market in order to ensure the stability and establishment of the requirements of each product and its proper quality. At the beginning of 2010, the name of the department changed to Drug and Food Control.

Mission

The mission of this department is to train knowledgeable, skilled, capable, and sensitive human resources for the health of individuals and society in the field of controlling drug and food products.
